    We have a testing scheduled for June 30. I've tried the white almond with strawberry cheesecake filling before so I want FI to see what he thinks. Our cake will have a real layer to cut and then the guests will be served sheet cake. I have the design picked out.

    Nope not yet.. I have designs I may like that I found on pintrest, but haven't talked with my dads co-workers wife that is doing it. Any ideas post! We don't want Fondone (sp?)

    We're actually skipping a cake and having a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar instead! Laughing I'm excited to surprise guests with something a little different, especially since budget landed us in a run-of-the-mill venue.

    We're skipping cake too :-) Plan to have a donut bar provided by this awesome donut place near my house and other assorted desserts so my guests will have a gluten free option too.

    It's on our list for this summer. We agree on cake and need fondant since our venue is outside but haven't gone for tasting yet I have great recommendations from a friend so well be busy in end of July /August.

    We kind of have it picked out.  I made the appointment for the cake consultation today.  It's not until July 17th, so we've got plenty of time to make a final decision.

    Nope not yet... Although we are doing a destination wedding for FI and I we both agreed that we want a small cake to celebrate... We are planning on making a trip to Destin sometime in the fall... So hopefully around then we will have ours picked out.

    not yet...  our venue package let's us go to one of 2 places. I have a few ideas put on favorites on here.  But nothing is set in stone.

    We have our cake pretty much set.  I think we decided on the chocolate banana layer cake.  It's going to be a three tier cake with white buttercream.  The top tier will be separated (I don't know what that's called) and there will be pink sugar orchids.

    I have the designed picked out, but we need to go talk to the bakery. The venue we choose also gives us the option of two places luckily one of them is the place I wanted to go before we even picked our venue. Can't wait to do our cake tasting yummy!

    No clue. I don't really care about what the cake looks like as long as it's not ugly. As for fillings, I like red velvet with cream cheese, I believe FI wants a chocolate cake. If we had no cake I'd be fine.
