Very helpful. One thing I would like to add that I will be bringing the day of the wedding is a crochet hook. My genius mother thought of this because my dress has little buttons all the way down the back of it. I said "Ooh, how are all those going to get buttoned up without it taking forever, and more importantly how is Tom going to be able to get all those undone after the reception". My mom said "Oh, we'll just bring a crochet hook and it'll be way easier". I gave it a try and it is MUCH easier to get those tiny buttons done and undone!

Ditto the crochet hook.  My seamstress told me this and it was a huge help!

Also, make sure your groom doesn't get wasted at the reception and can't get you out of your dress.  One of my BMs was a BM is another wedding and the groom was so drunk he couldn't figure it out.  So she had to help the bride unhook her dress and half unzip it and let them go from there...

I didn't tell Todd much about my dress but I did tell him that he had to be coherent enough to figure out how to get me out of it which involved buttons.  He's not a big drinker so I wasn't too worried but just something to think about!
