My shower is next weekend and I have been registry stalking... like often... and am getting kind of bummed that no new gifts have been purchased. Pretty much everything that's been bought is already sitting in a stack in our dining room because its from people who aren't coming to the shower or wedding.

I love my FI and God bless him I know he's doing all he can to find a job and finish his Master's degree, but if you haven't subbed in 3 days and you don't know where your birth certificate is so we can get our marriage license and you've reaptedly told me you'll handle it, by gosh get off your butt and GO GET THE BLASTED BIRTH CERTIFICATE so I can stop being a witch about it! Really...It's in the SAME county... Ans while he's at it, he needs to do the ONLY OTHER task I've ask him to handle and figure out how we're getting from the ceremony to the reception! Thanks...I'm a wee bit stressed as we all are about now!

I am feeling really stressed with only 36 days left. I feel like I have a list a mile long of things to do!! And to top it off two weeks of the 5 I have left until the wedding are filled with things to do so I have to get all this stuff done in 3 weekends! YIKES!

My mother is driving me crazy. Today she told me she ordered me thigh highs. I have literally told her 10 times that I am not wearing them with my open-toe shoes and not to mention that I don't want to worry about them rolling down during the ceremony. I'm not little and they don't like to stay on my thighs. I've told her this. Yet she still bought them. She doesn't even know what size I am!!

My mom is totally driving me crazy as well. She's been harping on me to go get things done for the wedding. Well mom it's my wedding and I will make sure it gets taken care of when I get my CAR back from the shop!

And thigh highs? I didn't think people wore those anymore. I think it has been 15 years since I've even wore panty hose. Thigh highs would totally drive me crazy under my dress.

Awhile back my FMIL told me she was ordering her dress in the size she plans on being before our wedding...something that just never seems like a good idea to me but whatever I just smiled & said that's nice. I got an email today from DB saying her dress was in, the style & size...she ordered a size 8... she is currently at least a 12 if not a 14 (down from a 16 in about 2 months time). Either she is going to be starving herself, therefore making her even more crazy & b*tchy than normal OR the dress will be extremely tight...not looking forward to either.

I found out today that my 90 year old Grandmother is going to be having surgery on the 25th of this month. Its on her back nothing major, just to help her getting feeling back in her leg since she fell in October. But with her having it that late this month there is a chance she will not make it to the wedding. I know she has to do what is best for her (I keep telling myself that) but it hurts that she might not be at the wedding now. She is my only living Grandmother, and one of the main reasons I am having the wedding to start with. So just a little bummed today.

I'm pretty pissed that I literally have half of our RSVP's back and they were due today. HALF. Not even kidding I have 29 out of 51 flipping invites - and its all FI's family and friends.
I'm also really pissed that none of his aunts/uncles are coming. I knew this was a huge reality because we are living and doing the wedding so far away from everyeone but really - its your nephew. You won't go to his wedding, but I know we will see you at his sisters wedding a few weeks after. UGH. It pisses me off that they don't want to put forth the effort for him. (I could care less, but it hurts me that FI deserves better and they dont see that).

I'm also pissed that I've spent a good chunk of money on this wedding and things are really tight on me budget wise. Not to mention I am PMSing. Ugh. HOPEFULLY after this weekend I will not have to buy another damn wedding thing until its time for manis/pedis/makeup and lunch on the day of and day before.

I have a few-

I flame FI for not stressing about rdvpd like I am.

I flame my salon for letting me know today that they need a $200 deposit 30 days before the wedding- next Friday! I've been asking for the contract since July and it's finally ready and now I have to pay.

Most of all I flame one of my student's moms. Kid stole a test back in December. I wrote it up and the kid got the punishment. Now she wants to make a big deal about everyone thinking her kid is a thief! Just proved that wacko kids usually have wacko parents.

Even though I'm late can I participate?

I'll take that as a yes.

I have 2 MOH's. One(We'll call her T) is an angel! The other (for all intents and purposes we'll call her M) isn't so great. I asked M to be MOH 1st and originally she was excited but never really showed a whole lot of interest(this should have been my first clue!) T, on the other hand, is super excited for my wedding. Besides FI and I I'd say she is the most excited for our wedding! T asks me everyday how I'm doing, she gets excited for my dumb little DIY projects, and shes putting together the bridal shower. With M, it's like pulling teeth! She just bought a new car, ipad, brand new iphone, and is contemplating buying breast impants but apparently she couldn't afford to pay the $60 to get her dress. She has had very few tasks in this wedding so far but putting together the bachelorette party was one task and she had a full year to plan the damn thing. On Friday she tells me she wants to do a Mardi Gras theme on Mardi Gras (Feb 21) I say thats great! Lets do it! And she has yet to tell anyone else about the damn thing! Dammit M!!!! Get your sh*t together! Dont make me plan my own bachelorette party!!!!!
