Bangali weddings

Anyone know anything about bengali wedding ceremonies. My fiancee is bengali and we are going to have a traditional bengali wedding. His family has shared some wedding videos and some info about the weddings but anyone know of any resources to get more information on bengali weddings? TIA

    Well, I'm having a Bengali Mulim wedding.  I found an article that describes the major events pretty well: http://www.bridalguide.com/etiquette-tradition/article.cfm?aID=13727.
    If you are wanting information on Bangladeshi  weddings, there are quite a few groups on Facebook that have TONS of photos.

    For our gaye holud, we will have ours together instead of separately.  I think it's more fun that way. He will wear a punjabi suit and I will wear a traditional golden yellow jamdani sari and ornaments made of flowers. I will have a separate Mehndi party for the ladies.  It will be pretty casual.
    We will have the Biye and Boubath the same day since so many people will be coming in from out of town and it just makes more sense logistically.  Everything else will be pretty similar to the article.
    Are you having your wedding in the states?
