I've been sort of lurking, because I wasn't sure if I belonged here

my wedding is a victorian theme, which is perhaps a hundred years more retro then maybe this board was intended, but I've enjoyed looking at all of your planning so much I thought I would share my own big check, I got my dress! i'm so excited it's very pink and lacy, and I think with antique looking flowers and a sort of gibson girl hairstyle it will totally fit my theme.

That is a gorgeous dress!!!!! Im doing the victorian theme also. My style is 1880's to Titanic time....if you need any ideas, Im the girl for you!!! Here are my Save The Dates and Table Number cards........I literally have everything purchased and my wedding is still 8 months away. So let me know if you need anything at all!

Lace for tables, ceremony ideas and fonts, place cards, etc.....I have researched this for about 4 years now. haha

Thanks Jenny! this stuff is amazing! we are working on designing our invitations, and this is a great sorce of inspiration and I'm deciding weather or not to have a tussy mussy holder for the bouquet! I love the victorian era, and we have a lot of victorian influence in our home decor so it was a logical choice for us

hi, my favor ideas are either mini silve wedding bells on a lace ribbon with ribbon rossettes that will be rung when we leave and our guests can take them home as ornaments, or makeing my own chocalate cameos from a candy mold and putting them on shortbread cookies, or both....

oh and heres my idea, for invites I was going to just print them here at home.
or take the design to a print shop. how is zazzle for prices? I was planning on printing the invites on velum or lightweight paper then mounting it on a light pink card, or printing it on pink and mounting it on a steely gray cardstock.
we are doing sort of a victorian cameo theme, so the logo on this will be on everything i can put it on! this is a little mockup, I'm thinking the layered card stock a silver grey ribbon and a pearl accent brad then a little rsvp card that had the logo.

Oooo another victorian bride! Yeah, there aren't too many on these boards (maybe 10?) but the retro brides have been gracious enough to let us share their space

If you want more inspiration, go to the planning bio page listed at the top of the boards. All the planning bios are organized by inspiration era (Victorian/Edwardian at the top)

Nukke,

You can get all of those images as stamps! That what Im using for sending out my STDs and invites. Gorgeous. And I LOVE the invitatiion idea! The ones Im getting from zazzle are 100 for $100, but I got them already and they are really high quality. They have a TON of cameo stuff.....let me see if I can find links. I LOVE the cookie idea, I would go with that! Very different Im using this top invite but changed the letters, and the other ones I really like too.
