Place in LA to hold an engagment party..loungy kind of feel

Me and my fiance want to have an engagment party in the next few weeks. We havent been ble to find a great location. We want it to be very loungy..not so stuffy. No sit down dinner. Just apps and drinks.
We'd love to find a place that we could rent out for a few hours and bring our own food and drinks in..but cant seem to find anwhere.

We wanted to do it at Malibu family wines, but our best friends just had their engagment party there so, we want to be a bit different.

We also checked out Sparks' room in studio city but there minimum was 1500$.

any ideas?

    Not sure your budget or location...but Next Door is a tapas bar/lounge in Studio City. They probably wouldn't let you bring your own food as they have their own, but it's very tasty and the prices for a party are fairly reasonable. It's not marked very well so it's a little hard to find, but it has a swanky, cool vibe, good food, full bar...a friend introduced me to it, and everyone I've taken back since has been pretty impressed and had a good time.
