I would say my mom. She was a stay at home mom. She was a GS leader, a room mom, made snacks for my friends, and took care of me and my brother. I know I'll have a PhD next year, but if I have the opportunity, I want to be a stay at home mom.

I love, love, love her books. My favorite is 19 Minutes.
I'm still in school so I really can't trade jobs yet but my fantasy job would be to run a vendor service. Creating invites, programs, STDs, flower arrangements, favor, etc. I think that would be so much fun. Alas, I am forever to be an office drone. Haha.

I'm kind of "meh" about her in general. 19 Minutes was good, and My Sister's Keeper made me cry like a baby, but I thought Handle with Care and Change of Heart were both pretty bad. In general, I think she's a pretty good writer, but I wish she would take more risks, I guess.
I picked her over other authors because I like her genre and the fact that she's pretty much guaranteed a best-seller with everything she puts out.

<div> </div><div>This is true. I love her because she's written some of my favorite books, but I downright hated some that I read. I think I just like that she's made me doubt if what I believe is right more than any other author. I honestly don't judge others situations the way I used to. I'd switch with the prof that just turned me down. Live near Tallahassee, practically on the beach and do tagging projects? Count me in. I'd love to wrangle the monsters of the sea for the rest of my life.

Lots of writers on this board. Ditto that, but my fantasy life involves being more like Emily Giffin. I am an unofficial stalker, and it sure as heck doesn't help that she lives in my city! I may or may not be hosting a cocktail party for my girlfriends before we go see Something Borrowed in May (the movie based off her first book).

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE to be head curator of an arthropod division in a bigtime museum somewhere! I would love to make killer money doing what I do now, pin/point insects, label said insects, organize said insects phylogenetically. Organize slide collections. Identify insects. Spread insects. Go in the field to collect insects. Repeat. Dream job, and I have to leave it when I graduate

I would be an interior designer. I love to decorate spaces, buy furniture, create DIY projects, sew, and paint! I think it would be a really fun job that would never get boring. I drooooooool over stuff like that...and i've probably made my condo over about three times in the 4 years i've owned it. love.love.love

I would switch jobs with a lottery winner, and then volunteer at Habitat for Humanity building houses all the time (except for when it's 115, which is when I would just lay in the pool all day).
Ok, for real, I would love to be an event planner. Any kind of event... weddings, parties, marathons, triathlons, conventions. I love organizing. Why the hell am I not doing that??!?
