Time is ticking away soooo slowly, I'm sooo ready for 2014 to come so we can finally tie the knot...I think im having anxiety attacks waiting soooo long lol....

Have any of you ladies got any wheels in motion with anything for the wedding? So far I have a date and tons and tons of ideas lol...

    I'm in the same boat. I just have the date, pretty much. I have lists. Lots and lots of lists. 

    Actually, we've already taken our engagement photos, although we plan to take a few more at a different location. And we've got our Save The Dates already. I got a GREAT deal on Shutterfly, and got 101 prints for FREE. I was so excited. We also already got my wedding band, so now we only have to worry about finding FI's.

    Pretty soon, we are going to start looking at venues, which I am extremely excited about.

    Other than that, I have lists of dreses to try on, bridesmaids dresses that I like, venues to look at, caterers, florists, bakeries, and all sorts of other things! 

    I know, I'm a nut.

    Well i guess im a nut too LOL...i already booked my planner/coordinator and im in the process of looking at venues and soon about to book my photographer.
    I already know where my BM are getting their dresses from (its just a matter of placing the order)
    I already know my colors and whos going to be in our wedding (well with the exception of who FI wants on his side)
    I have the idea of the dress i want
    and i know how i want the venue to look as far as flowers and such
    I already know whos going to be my DJ (its just a matter of booking him)
    Im getting my E-Ring within the next 2 weeks

    Other than that im ready.....

    Actually, now that I think of it, I've already booked my photographer, and hair and makeup artist. We also decided on our colors too, a long time ago. What are yours?? Mine are Turquoise and Red. 

    You said you have your bridesmaids' dresses picked out already.. do you already have your bridesmaids chosen? Did you already ask them? If you haven't, I wouldn't reccommend asking them until you're a year out, at the most. It's never a good idea to ask people to be in your wedding too soon. Relationships change, people change, people move; there's a lot of things to factor in when choosing a BP too soon. Just a word of caution. If you have already chosen and asked them, then best of luck to you, and I hope nothing goes awry with that.

    Well my colors (WHICH I OVER LOVE ARE) Magenta, Plum Purple, Silver,Lavender, and some hints of Fuschia.. cant wait to see it all come together!

    And yes i already knw the dresses they are going to wear and i have already chosen whos going to be in it and asked them simply because i was supposed to get married this year instead of 2014 so wtbs they were already notified LOL...Besides these ladies i have been friends with forever and its not like even if they dont want to be in the wedding it wouldnt be a problem i have a few other ladies i can always put in their place..

    Ohh, I see. Sorry you had to move your wedding back. :/

    But, also, if anyone should choose to drop out of your WP, you should never, ever "replace" them. It makes the replacement feel like they were runner up, or just second best. It's just rude in general. I'm just warning you, because if you were to say that on any other board, the ladies on here wouldn't phrase it as nicely as I have.

    I already ordered STD's because I got a great deal. I have my wedding party picked, photographer signed and I have a few small accessories. I have a ceremony venue picked out, but cant apply for it until Jan 1, 2014. I have a reception venue and caterer in mind, just trying to get the $!

    I have moved along quite quickly!

    Well I understand that but on the other hand I'm sure my closest friends would completely understand why I would ask them after someone decided to drop out at the last minute or I'd just have a smaller wedding party....don't worry I know what I'm doing.....thanks anyway

    Shutterfly has save the dates, you insert your own information and pictures then order them. I googled some coupons and got my STD's for half price!
