Hello all! My FI and I are looking into a destination wedding in Las Vegas! We are both from Colorado which is a beautiful state but are in love with the atmosphere of Vegas (and the price of getting married there is super reasonable!). I just wanted to say hello to everyone on the board, I just started reading posts on this board recently and love all of the good advice!

    We are looking at getting married the last week of April 2013...we haven't decided on an exact date but most likely it will be 4/25/2013 (so much cheaper to get married on a week day!)

    If fiance and I could go back we would choose Vegas for the wedding! It's our favorite holiday spot and there is so much to do there! We are excited for our wedding coming up HOWEVER, we both decided Vegas would have been more stress free. The customer service has been so poor (our TA has been awesome!) that Vegas would have made more sense because we always get treated well there! Good luck and have fun! I think you are making a great choice!

    Congratulations and Welcome!!!  Vegas does sound like a blast... Like HappyMaddies, sometimes I wish I would have thought about Vegas as an option.  It definitley is a lot more reasonable for guests...

    Can't wait to hear all about your plans as you go through the planning process... the girls hear are FULL of ideas and advice ;)

    Thanks for all of the love ladies! Such a warm welcome! I am excited to continue posting with everyone. You are all so wonderful. I needed some positive feelings about the destination wedding since I don't seem to have as much support as I'd like about it from family....as I'm sure everyone would guess they would prefer us to get married in Colorado.

    jtoly-I am probably just having a smaller wedding there but we will see...everyone loves Vegas, who doesn't want an excuse to go there, right?

    ehlerrs-I am currently in Greeley but I am from Aurora. how about you?
