AAH, we ordered invitations today!
I was initially going to make them all myself, but with so much time spent toward school, that's clearly not really feasible. FI made the executive decision that it would be too much stress for me (which, despite some fighting to retain control, I agree...) so he offered to spring for letterpress invitations.
After pricing out a couple of designs, we decided to go with one that I felt really fit the feel and theme of our wedding, the only downside was that we couldn't do gold foil stamping to get both of our wedding colors on there. BUT! When I went in today, I found out that as of the first of the year, this company DOES offer foil stamping, and for a MUCH more reasonable price than any of the other companies we considered!
On top of this, to continue to keep costs down we're only ordering the invitation and response card as letterpress, and doing our own inserts and pocketfolds. I had checked out the sizes the letterpress company offers, and thought that we would have to order an odd size to ensure it fit on the pocketfold - BUT! found out that they can do custom sizes, at no extra charge!
I am SO excited now! I think this was the big moment that made it all SUPER real for me - I was excited before, but now I feel like I'm not going to sleep for the next 5 months out of anticipation! Haha

We get the first round of proofs in 3-5 days!
