I had to scream it from the rooftops, and I don't post this stuff on Facebook because I don't like advertising that FI is military and that we're moving next summer because I don't want my job somehow finding out.
However, FI recently decided that instead of taking the BARBRI bar preparation class, where you sit in a classroom 5 days of the week in the two months leading up to the test, he's going to do a much cheaper online version that has equally good reviews. What this means is that there is no good reason for us to stay in Miami until the bar exam - he'll have no extra income, and my salary alone won't comfortably cover our expenses (barely the rent & utilities, but no food or gas or insurance). Soooo.... rather than leaving the end of July, we're leaving middle of May as soon as he graduates!!!!
We're going to move in with my parents for those 3 months, which is cool because they're really easy to live with and happy to have us. FI can use the furnished basement as his personal study den, and the puppy can spend her days down there with him. I'm going to get a summer job at a camp or something similar, which at the end of the day will end up giving me more money than my current job with all the living expenses deducted.
Sooo.... rather than 36 weeks until we leave Miami... I only have 23 weeks!!!!!!!!! Whooooooopy!!!!
