Florists in the Poughkeepsie Area

Hi Ladies!

Does anyone have any great recommendations of florists in the Poughkeepsie area? Our reception is at The Grandview and we are looking for someone dependable and hoping not to spend a fortune (Although I have no clue what flowers will/should cost. Any recommendations on florists would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!! :-)

We used Lucille's Floral Design in Fishkill.  She was wonderful.  Her prices were really reasonable and she will work with any budget and be very honest about what can and can't be done for the $.

As for flower cost, it is definitely one budget that really varies bride to bride.  It really depends on what kind of flowers you want and how much you need.    We did 13 tables, 2 ceremony pieces, 2 bridal bouquets (one throw away) 5 BM boquets, 2 corsages, 8 bouts, bows for the church pews and an aisle runner. (I feel like I'm leaving somethign out) but we spent under $1500.

I am using Apple Valley Florist. 7 bouqets, 7 boutainners (sp), and stuff for Moms, Dads, Grandparents and table arrangements for like $500 total!

Definitely check out Marianne's Florist on Hooker Avenue in Poughkeepsie.  She was terrific - great price and absolutely gorgeous flowers.
