  • Just what I need, excuses to show off my puppies : D

      Chunkers!!

      First time outside : )

In their bed, which I have bought but they aren't allowed to have yet because I don't want them peeing all over it, lol. Plus we are crate training them fairly strictly right now.

      Nugget!

Ok, I can be done now.
  • Well here is a picture of our baby when he was a baby baby last year, and then him now a year later: 93 lb baby!  ha, the second one is him geared up for a hike the other weekend!  :)  Love him!

  • lepoissonrouge, I am so close to stealing your pups!!  Soo cute!

We have two kitties, both around 6-7 months old.  Noel, the mixed color one is my baby, even though we got her as a Christmas kitty for my stepdaughters.  She's an awesome cat with a great playful personality.  Tulip, the black one, is the red headed step child in our house!  She is a tirant and is someone destructive.  We got her from the same shelter as Noel in February and it's been a tough go with her.  She doesn't like for us to hold her, touch her, nothing.  She's basically a companion for Noel when we aren't home and that's it.  FI strongly dislkes her, which I hate to say, but she really isn't a good cat.

  • We adopted Hunter almost a year ago, June 10th.  He's been the greatest!  The people that have been on here back then remember me questioning getting a dog only 10 days after moving into our house.  I'm so glad I did!  He's almost 2 years old now, the laziness puggle I know!

Yes he sleeps like this, or like a baby in my arms... every.single.night

That is his favorite toy, he sleeps with it... brings it to bed everynight!

  • Milly, she is our 2 year old Boxer and could not even ask for a better dog! She is quite the pillow hog!

Milly loves Halloween as much as us! The year prior she was Yoda:)

  • We have two.

When FI and I got back together (we dated off and on through high school and college) I already had my cat. When he first saw her he said "Ew, a cat!" Lol. He hated them. I told him it was both of us or neither of us. Now he loves her.

After we moved in together FI started working nights and I was lonely. Punkin' only cuddles when she feels like it, so I decided I wanted a dog. My sister's rat terrier was having puppies and I fell in love with one. He was the runt and all the other puppies picked on him. I had to have him and FI reluctantly agreed. So now we also have Remy (who FI treats like a baby now).

Punkin' and Remy are best friends. They love each other. They drive us crazy, but I can't imagine life without them.  :)

Wish I could post pics b/c they are both so freakin' cute, but I'm at work (shhh).

Fi and I were both dog people. When we met, he had Sadie, who's 3 now. I lived with my parents and had 2 dogs there, ella and rey. We still visit Ella and Rey and now we have doggie playdates.

Sadie is huge, almost 90 lb, lab.

Ella is a beagle/corgi/pekenese mix and Rey is a shitzu/pekenese mix

  • This is Macey. We adopted her from the humane society in January of 2006.

And this is Romeo. He was rescued from a puppy mill when he was 8 months old. He'll be 3 this August and he's about 155lbs and still growing!

  • FI and I don't have a pet yet because our apartment doesn't allow them and FI wants to wait until we have a backyard for our dog to run around in I agree. But we can't wait to get one! We've already decided, as of like 2 yrs ago, that we're going to have a basset hound named George. We talk about him like he already exists. He has a lot to live up to with the crazy stories we've created haha.

Wow, Romeo makes me happy that mine hasn't topped 100 yet!  My only downfall right now is that Otto is just over a yr, so has a ton of puppy energy.  Good luck ladies!!

  • No pics because I'm posting from my phone...maybe later, though. : FI and I have a trio of ornery cats. Yohji is my boy, who I adopted in 2007 right after I finished school and moved into a pet friendly apartment. Before the shelter got him, he was a stray who broke into someone's house and was found eating their pet food in the basement! He is a big fluffy muffin who purrs compulsively, all the time. He also is a doofus and a food hog, LOL. Mozilla and Firefox are brother and sister, a pair of littermates that FI adopted as kittens about 2 years before we met. When we first started dating, we realized we had actually both gotten our cats from the same rescue! Mozilla is a sweetheart and an attention whore. He loves people, but he has a touch of the ADHD and would rather paw at your hands, bite your glasses, or just walk all over you than sit calmly and snuggle. Firefox...is antisocial, LOL. She hides in FI's office most of the time and is grumpy toward everyone, cats and people alike, except for FI. She loves FI to death and is clearly daddy's little girl, LOL. We suspect she holds a grudge against me, both because I brought Yohji into the house and because she was the lady of the house until I came along. I dated FI for months before she would even allow me to pet her. Now I can pick her up and cuddle her a little, but she let's me know she isn't thrilled about it.

We have three furbabies!  Our oldest is our cat Chevelle,5:

We adopted her from a couple who had a box of kittens dropped off at the end of their driveway.  She is the queen of our house (and she acts like it too! haha)

Next up is our English bulldog, Duke, 2 years.  We purchased him from a breeder because FI has always dreamed of having one.  He has the craziest personality I've ever seen on a dog.  And he's a blanket hog.

Lastly, we have Jackson.  The newest addition to our family; he's been with us just over 2 months, and is 6 months old.  We resuced him from a couple who was selling him into a fighting ring.  I hate to imagine the life this little guy could have wound up having.

Instead, he has days like this with his brother:

    What bums!!

I do have one more to add.  This is Cocoa, a chow-cocker spaniel mix, relaxing in the family room.  My family took her in when she was just 4 months old.  We got her from another family during a garage sale, so I called her my garage sale baby.  She came to live with FI and I just after we got Duke.  She wasn't getting along with my mom's Siberian Husky anymore.

When she was 12 we were given the news that she had maybe 6 months to live.  She was diagnosed with cancer.  All I wanted was one more christmas with her and I ended up getting more than just one.  She out lived her 6 months, and died at home with us on Christmas morning in 2011 at the age of 15.  At 3 am we opened the furbabies presents so that she could see them, and she passed shortly after that.  I like to think she stuck around to give me just one more christmas.  You never knew with her that she was 15 and in her old age.  She was a puppy through and through.

We have two cats and a dog.
    Scout:

He has yellow on his face because he got caught getting into the lillies..
We got Scout a year and a half ago, he turned 2 this month!

    Bandit:

He loves boxes, bags, anything he can climb into a sleep.
Bandit was originally my moms cat but he always bonded with me, so when we bought our house last year he made the move with us when he lost his best friend spike. Bandit is 8 years old.

    Koko:

We adopted her three months ago from a animal rescue. Shes a boxer/lab mix and we think part pit bull too(She barks at everything and is full of energy she bounces when excited lol). The vet said she is between 1.5 - 2 years old.

Scout loves to eat Koko's food:

    They share well...

  • This is Nigel and Mia....Nigel is just a puppy and tries to do everything Mia does, like she is his mama (which she isn't).

This is Mo....we live out in the country in Central Nebraska and he just showed up on our doorstep one day so we took him in, he was so tiny then but now is a big furrbaby.

This Is Outlaw, my office kitty....she is really feisty so that is how she acquired her name.  Her favorite place to hang out is on the fax machine.

Here he is 2 weeks ago, when he had a bad ear wound from ticks. Poor guy had to wear a cone!

This little guy has my heart. We rescued him two summers ago from a lady who found him days old hiding under a shed, totally emaciated. He's been my little cuddle buddy ever since. Meet Boo!
I came into the office a few days ago and he was just looking too cute! Trying to be like his Mama on Pinterest LOL! FI calls him the true love of my life!

Then we have our other furbaby who FI adopted a few years ago once he graduated. She's more of a loner cat and usually sleeping but it balances well with Boo who is in your lap looking for a pet 24/7.
    Meet Roo!
