  Thanks for that great list Ambrosia!  It will be handy to have those names so I can offer suggestions if my BMs end up needing alterations on their dresses.

  Louise Austrie in Oakland, right off Lake Merritt, is providing the alterations on my wedding gown.  I've really enjoyed working with her so far!  And her yelp reviews are impeccable.
