Alessi Bakery

Just curious to know if anyone has used Alessi's for their wedding cake?  I like the idea of using them because it's family owned...but I'm nervous because sometimes the cake artist is prompt on responses and other times I have to follow up about 3 times before I hear a response....am I just being too OCD?  lol!!  Any advice would be great!

I've never had their wedding cake, but the rest of the bakery items are amazing!

Why do you have to contact her so many times?  She's probably busy decorating cakes.  :D

This is a destination wedding for me and I don't have time to fly down to FL and do a tasting with my FH before our big day.  So, everything so far, has been through email.  We've been going back and forth with designs, pricing, cake topper ideas, etc.  But, this bakery came highly recommended from a friend who recently moved out of Tampa and I wanted to give them a shot.

Also, I have read mediocre reviews on other wedding websites and that's what prompted my nervousness.

Everything they have is amazing. Their cakes taste so soft too! I just don't have the budget for it lol

I second the recommendation for Laurie - she has been great to work with.  Very helpful & flexible.
