Slacker??

Hello! Im new to this particular board and have finally decided to post!  I'm also a May 25th bride, and I see that you girls have done A LOT!!  All I've done is book my venue and photographer then decided to take a break!! My plan is to start back up in August.   While I am saving different ideas on dresses, flowers, etc on my computer, I've yet to act!! Am I a slacker???

    Welcome to the board and congrats!! I am a May 25th bride too.. I am kinda slacking to on DIY projects, I have most of the big stuff done.

    No, you are definitely not a slacker!  I was in the same boat when I started posting to the boards. I felt so behind on things compared to everyone else.  I am a May 18th bride and I have some of the big things done, but not everything.  And I haven't even started on the DIY stuff.  You'll know what kind of pace you are ready to plan at!  Everyone is different Smile

    I agree you are not a slacker... Some of the other ladies on here are planners so they got everything taken care of early. Do things at your own pace, you already have some the major checks done. Dont stress you still have plenty of time. Happy Planning!!!

    Welcome! Do not feel like a slacker; everyone plans at their own pace. A lot of people on this board like to get things done it advance, but it is okay if you are not where others are in the planning process. It will all come into place!

    Don't feel like a slacker! As long as everything gets done, the pace doesn't matter. I've been engaged since August so my FI & I took each step (aka venue/vendor) one at time & started booking things that way.

    Don't worry about it. The only thing I would try to start doing now is to find your dress. I found mine in January, and they said it wouldn't ship until August!
