    That isn't a bad idea :)

I think I am going to rent a trolley from Mt. Dora Trolley Company to shuttle my out of town guests from the hotel where we have a block to the venue.  That is the only one I came across in the area.

AGREED! I am doing barely ANY floral decor what-so-ever because 1) I am one of the few brides in the world who does not like flowers at all! (if it werent for my mother I wouldn't even carry a bouquet!!) We are not doing any kind of floral centerpieces what-so-ever! No flower girl, no corsages/ no boutonnieres for anyone and no floral altar arrangements. And it STILL coming out to $1K ! We went to soooo many florists and got qoutes from even more then we had consults with it is just ridiuclous how overpirces some ppl are. I am finally going with In Bloom bc I felt I clicked with that florist the best and he has great ideas!

But even the white moroccan lanterns and other decor we are doing is costing soooooooo much. But I am paying for all of that, thankfully my father is paying majority of the wedding. and I am paying maybe 1/3. It is still stressfull. I hear you!!

Debbie with Atmospheres floral and decor did my flowers and they were amazing.  I had a full round red rose bouquet with crystals, four hydrangea bridesmaid's bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages for others.  Then we had 100 red roses for the cake plus we had seven centerpieces.  The centerpieces were uplighted and had crystal chandeliers hanging down with round hydrangeas at the top.  Others had floating flowers and candles.  Everything was just under 1,000 dollars including set up and taxes.  She was wonderful to work with and the flowers blew me away.

Vicki with Peddles has a basic package for the bridal party and parents starting at $200. I'm doing non floral centerpieces (wheat grass) to cut down on floral costs. All those girls who are using fake flowers because they are cheaper either have a secret source or got really high quotes for real flowers. I looked at fake flowers for my centerpieces as an accent thinking maybe three per table. The ones I liked were $7 each. I do agree they are expensive.

Megs and Britt- I have the trolley booked! They have a minimum of 5 hours on a Saturday, and an 18 and 36 (I think) passenger trolley. Air conditioned and padded seats. The lady is actually really nice her name is Cyndi and her number is 352-385-1023.

Since they are the only ones that's why I joke I should buy one, although the price she is charging me is about the same as a limo would be. But being from Philadelphia I really wanted a trolley, and we are using it to shuttle guys, gals and some guests to the church and back to the hotel. Our wedding is in Altamonte and Maitland, they do travel, the trolley can go 65mph, and they are constantly going to Winter Park. Hope that helps!

Sadly I have expensive flower tastes, and I think we are going to be losing some of the extra things we were adding. This isnt platinum weddings after all! (Although my mother thinks so)

Britt - definitely call Cyndi at Mt. Dora Trolley.  She is super nice.  They definitely go outside of Mt. Dora.  I am getting married at the Lake Mary Events Center and they are shuttling my guests between the Westin in Lake Mary and the Events Center.  She told me they service all over Central Florida.  They don't have a limit on the amount of stops or anything like that.
