    weekend!!

    Today: my mom and brother are coming by school to see my classroom, and then take me out for lunch. Tonight, we're laying low.

    Saturday: DH is doing an olympic triathlon in the morning. i think he's psyching himself out. If he gets top three in his age group, he qualifies for nationals. Then, at night we're going to pepe's for fathers day with my parents and brother.

    Sunday: 5 mile run...then doing some grad work, and applying for jobs.

    Rant: I'm not looking forward to telling my students that I wont be here next year, especially because a few are taking certain math classes with the hopes that if they are having trouble, i can help them. Also, every teacher I walk by gives me this "I'm sorry, that really sucks" look.

    Finally the weekend!!!!
    Tomorrow: meeting at Cakes By Donna to finalize our cake, then shopping for wedding shoes! My second fitting is next Thursday, and they need to do the hem, so I need to find some shoes.
    Sunday: The Future Hubs is taking his father and brother to buy suits for the wedding. I'll be at home making more to-do lists. :]

    Rant: DH just informed me that we have to leave at 515 for his triathlon tmrw morning. NO FUN

    TGIF!!!!

    Rave: So far the weather is looking perfect for our outdoor wedding next week! That has been stressing me out since we booked a venue with outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour.

    Rant: I promised myself and FI that I was shutting myself off from all wedding projects the last week before the wedding. I think I have everything pretty much all set, but I have that awful feeling that I'm missing something.

    Tonight: 30 Day Shred after work then dinner and showering and having our final meeting with our officiant to go over our vows and finalize the ceremony.

    Tomorrow: Shredding it first thing in the morning then poolside for the day. Then at night we're going to FSIL's 30th b-day party.

    Sunday: Our last Sunday going to church before the wedding, I'm sure everyone's going to be hounding us about how excited we are. (yes that is starting to get annoying) then off to my parents to visit with my dad and give him his gift. Also have my mom fill out the escort cards with her pretty handwriting. Then we'll be heading back down to the valley to visit with FIL's which will hopefully include some grilling and more poolside action.

    Ahh you're getting sooo close!! The weather stalking is fun, but nerve racking! For us, though, we had to watch out for snow and ice haha.

    I know what you mean about everyone asking if you're excited. It's like, I just wanted to say, "no, actually" just to see what people would say.

    wooo.  Thank you Friday

    Tonight - Going with the FI to his granparents house in RI for the weekend. surprised me last night. So I get to bring all my DIY with me since that's what I originally was going to do this weekend.

    Sat - Going to Newport FI has never been (even though his grandparents live in Charlestown) spend the day there since it'll be gorg out! Then find a place for dinner.

    Sun - Fathers day with FI's family then back home for laundry :(

    * ps. I guess most all of my invites have been received and I've been getting great feedback on how they look ! :)

    AW our 1 year mark!!!  Let the ticker start moving!!!

    Tonight: Meeting one of my bridesmaids for dinner to meet her FI for the first time.  I need a little research on these boards last night and saw a post where people recommended Eli Cannons so we might go there (Middletown seems to be the best half way point for us).

    The rest of the weekend... not sure yet.

    Yay for 1 year. Literally you will wake up tomorrow and it'll be days away. Enjoy it. I can't believe how fast 2 years went for us. I thought all these knotties were lying to me haha.

    <div>love eli cannons!!  it gets super crowded, so plan on grabbing a table, but you will have to wait for one.  they have sooooooooooooo many beers, and a really diverse menu.</div>

    no big plans for me!  but TGIF!!  i'm just excited for atlantic city next weekend :)

    Tonight: DH is picking me up a tad early from work (yay!!) and we're headed to our friends' new house for dinner/drinkies :)

    Tomorrow/Sunday: nothing planned!  headed home to see daddy, but that's about it.  ohhh and i forgot!!!  my sis & i are going to see SATC2 tomorrow night!!  finally!!!

    Yay it's friday!!! Today, I'm just making jewelry of course!  Tonight we're hanging out with some friends.... still trying to think of something fun to do.

    Tomorrow DH and I are FINALLY taking the boat out on Candlewood!!!! Woo hoo!  I seriously just want to sit in the sun, swim and bbq ALL DAY.

    Sunday I'm trying to set up some time to see my dad.  Maybe I'll even be able to rally my bro to hang out with us. lol.

    Thank goodness for Friday...I feel like this week has gone by too slow and I had 2 days off!

    Rave: I finished my first DIY centerpiece last night :)  Now moving on to the next one.

    Rant/Rave?: My ticker went from "10 months" to "9 months and 4 weeks"...getting close!  But also seeing I still have a lot more to do kinda scares me...take a deep breath...

    Carrie- FI's Dad has a boat and we go up to Candlewood sometimes! Hopefully sometime we can plan to meet up for some tubing on the lake or at Down the Hatch!

    Tonight: 2nd dress fitting! Then down to Hot Shots for happy hour :)

    Tomorrow: Mani/Pedi and then going to a local winery with some girl friends. Pizza at our place after!

    Sunday: B-pics in the morning! aaahhhhhhh! Then hopefully going out on FI dad's boat :-)

    TGIF is right!!

    Rant: our bedding at Macys has been discontinued! the hotel collection...WTF..seriously getting annoyed bc there are things that keep getting discontinued...this is my punishment for registering early

    Rave: so happy for the knotties who informed me about trolleys at Double A in Rocky hill. just set up an appt to go see them on Tuesday afternoon...only issue is they quoted me 1250 for 4 hours...(i guess its cheaper than the 1600 for a limo but still seems high..but i wanted a trolley so bad!

    weekend plans: out on dads boat all weekend!

    I'm so excited that summer Fridays starts this week!! I get out at 1:30 every Friday until end of Aug!!
    Today: Getting my highlights retouched and probably going shopping!
    Sat: FI's going to PA to get fireworks in the AM so I'm probably going to brunch with some of my girl friends. At night we are celebrating Father's Day at FSIL's.  
    Sun: Going trap shooting with some friends then probably going out for drinks after.

    Finally Friday! Yay!

    Tonite- Leaving work early and FI are heading to Mohegan for the Styx/Foreigner/Kansas concert.  Staying at the Bellissimo Grande ( I highly recommend staying there if you're going to either of the casinos)

    Sat- Up early to head to Misquamicut. Finally a beach day!! Then heading over to Mystic Aquarium

    Sun- Cookout for Father's Day

    Have a fun weekend everyone!

    So jealous! My mom works for a university and they work 4-day weeks during the summer. Ugh I could use a 4-day week...

    I'm going to Boston tomorrow to see my FSIL and FBIL and their two girls. I was going to bail and just let my FI make the trip but my FSIL sent me an e-mail this morning saying that my future niece woke up and said "I can't WAIT to see Aunt Karen tomorrow!". How can I say no to that?

    Then I will be assembling invitations and planning my last ditch effort to drop 5 pounds before Hawaii (19 DAYS!!!).

    Yay for Friday. I'm sooo tired!!

    Tonight- FI realllly wants to see Toy Story 3 in IMAX 3D, so we're going. Don't get me wrong I want to see it, but def could've waited until it came out on netflix. 

    Tomorrow- 2 charity events to go to with FI, and then coming home to relax.

    Sunday- Hopefully not leaving the house! Cleaning and making sure to call my Dad!

    then it's back to work monday

    Wooo hooo for friday!!!

    Tonight: Hanging out with some friends, then out in Hartford. One our best friends and my BM is leaving to move to Austin for a traveling PT position :o( Things could get a little wild!

    Saturday: A run in the morning is a must! (I've been slacking all week) Studying alllll day then E-PICS tomorrow afternoon!!!! I'm SOOOO excited to finally work with our awesome photographers! :o)

    Sunday: Have to work... then over to my rents house to spend some quality time with Dad :o)

    Thank heavens it is Friday!!

    Tonight: Relaxing with DH, setting up my new iPod touch!
    Tomorrow: FIL & MIL are coming over for a BBQ for Father's Day
    Sunday: No plans that I am aware of right now, hopefully finding some books for my new nook (e-reader from B&N)

    And before you say it, yes, DH and I are technology crazy. That's what I get for marrying a software developer- we also got a new MacBook lol
