Good Morning and TGIF!

Morning all! Yesterday was a LONG day for DH and I! I'm so glad it's finally Friday!
We leave late this afternoon for Minnesota! Woot woot! In between all of our running around yesterday and my daughter's graduation last night, I was a busy litttle bee making phone calls to various vendors and people setting up appointments and/or finalizing details for our AHR next Saturday. Whew! I feel semi-okay with my to-do list now. Granted, I have a lot to do in the coming week, but I'm confident it'll all be okay!

This morning I have a baby shower cake to do for a client (last minute request, and you know I can't say no!!) So I'll be busy occupied for a bit this morning. I'm going to finish getting Brian's packing done and when he gets home from work,we're outta here!

Friday!!! So happy it's finally here. Busy weekend for me. I've got some shopping and a bonfire to go to tomorrow. And on Sunday, I have a violin gig for work. Lots to do.

Good morning Shelli, and holy cow, you are up quite early!!!! Is it even morning yet there? Have a safe trip and :::vibes::: for accomplishing everything you need to!

Ugh, this AM I am facing the reality of what I did yesterday: my car that just got out of the body shop like 2 weeks ago with fresh new passenger side panels and repainted back bumper....well, while backing out of a space last night at my little niece's daycare class picnic, I backed into a 2 ft retaining wall that I totally didn't see behind me! WTF?!

Nice big gash in my fresh bumper. Thank goodness the last accident wasn't my fault and my deductible is still only $100. But on that note, yes TGIF, because Thursday needed to be ooooooooooover!!!!!!!!!

Big weekend for me...its my sorority sisters wedding in New Jersey so a few of the girls from college are all going! I am really looking forward to it, this bride has been in Germany with her FI for the last 8 months!! So after work I will be packing and maybe dinner with FI...

Shelli--sounds like you have a very busy day ahead of you. I have a long work day ahead after a pretty bad day yesterday (all work-related).

On a completely unrelated note, was anyone else having trouble with TK last night? Every time I tried to look at a post or post myself, I would either (a) be redirected to the MUSIC page (so weird) or (b) get an error message. Silly knot!

I hope everyone has a good weekend. I'm on call this weekend so hopefully it won't be too busy. My FI works this weekend (he's a police officer) and they town he works in has it's "heritage days"...so he'll be there most of it making sure they don't party too hard. So I plan on working on my knot website and watching movies. Plus I'm sure I'll be on here...always a great way to pass the time!

Me this weekend, FI's sister's high-school graduation party tomorrow night, date night tonight, and cleaning... cleaning cleaning cleaning. And shopping with my mom for honeymoon clothes and picking up FI's wedding ring on Sunday, and E-mail wedding planner all the stuff I've been stalling on, need more checks!!

WR: FInish our palm fans...I love working with a glue gun! Also going to start on making tags.
NWR: heading to a friend's bday party tonight but first must get through work, leave work at 3pm to catch a ferry and do pysical therapy, then after head to the gym with FI, then have dinner, then have drinks with the bday girl :-). Tomorrow we're watching the World Cup live in Manhattan somewhere. My mom also comes home from the Philippines tomorrow so I'm excited.

Morning everyone!! Happy Friday!!

Still feel like crap...but I am hacking up mucus. Still can't hear. I'll be so glad when it's the weekend and I can just cuddle up and get a lil better.

A little disappointed today...contacted the perfect resort (at least for me) yesterday and was told that if I only have FI and me that I can only get married on a Mon, Tues, or Wed. Meaning, my 3/11 is not available. However, I recieved an e-mail this morning that it was possible any day of the week, so now I'm confused and will be writing them about a clarification.

Good morning everyone! I'm leaving here in a few hours with FI to go to a friend's house on the other side of the state for a much needed weekend gettaway. They live right on Lake Michigan so I can't wait!!

I'm going to mail out my snacks today too for the DW snack exchange... I was going to mail them earlier but I had class all week and the first batch I baked didn't come out good

Happy Friday ladies!

Safe travels to everyone & Shelli I hope you have a fantastic AHR!

FI has to go on sea trials with the navy this weekend, since it's the first boat where he completely headed the nuclear power installation, so he will be gone for 3 days with no contact. UGH! I will be watching Dear John and crying tonight, probably doing some cleaning too. Tomorrow starts Sand Soccer at the oceanfront so I'll be there with all my girls, plus I have my little cousin's bday party, and I have to babysit tomorrow evening. Sunday I'll be back at the oceanfront, and watching the season premiere of True Blood. Even though FI will be super sad I watched it without him haha!

Hopefully we can plan a mini-vacation when FI gets back. He wants to go to Boston, and I'd prefer NYC, but I always prefer NYC and we've never been to Boston. So I guess we'll see haha!

I am off work today & I've already gotten some things accomplished, woo! Mailed out our STDs & then had an appt at a local print shop for invitations

Baylee is getting spayed this weekend so that means probably a pretty lowkey weekend staying home w/ her as she recovers! It's supposed to rain the next few days, yuck!

Good morning and happy Friday! I'm so tired today. FI was emceeing last night at a Bachelor/ette Auction fundraiser for a team at work who are doing the ride to conquer cancer, and I didn't get to sleep until late. But it was worth it, they had raised $8,200 and wanted to reach their goal of $10,000 last night and they did! So awesome! I hope I get some more energy because tonight after work we have a work event for the children's hospitals in Vancouver at a Fire Hall (woo hoo firemen eye candy!).
