Ideas on Cakes!

I love to bake, so I feel like I need a really cool looking cake.! I love everything about cakes too, I am having such a hard time trying to decide what I want my cake to look like. I want something elegant looking that is all I know! Has anyone else decided what they want their cake to look like yet? Do you have a picture?

My bridesmaid makes cakes for a living and asked if she can make mine as her wedding gift to me. I sent her 3 pictures of cakes I liked and told her that I trust her to make it happen. The only things we agreed on were:

- It would be a white cake

- Any ribbon/cloth type detailing will be black

- There will be red roses

- 2 of the tiers will be our fav flavours: Fi's is marble and mine is red velvet

there are soooo many lovely cakes to choose from!!
We're not doing a traditional cake, but I did see this one at a bridal show and LOVE LOVE LOVED it!! Simply elegant

I want my cake done similar to this, but square.

For the groom's cake, my fiance is a huge Denver Broncos fan, so I was thinking of getting him a chocolate sheet cake similar to this.

I am obsessed with ruffled cakes like this one:

We don't have a baker chosen, but I am hoping to find someone with some different ideas. I do not like fondant cakes, or really most of the plain or traditional cakes though I did find this one which I would be ok with:

I'm not sure if these are real or frosted? But I am in love with this and could also see a smaller cake with cupcakes with succulents on top instead of flowers?

It is going to be a simple ivory cake with "flowers" like these but in browns and oranges with silver accents. Luckily my mom has a bakery, so she will be making it for me
