Venue, May 2014, $50/head

Hi all. I live in the Poconos but have always wanted a beach wedding. With my extremely limited budget, I'm having zero luck finding a venue. So I was wondering if any of you Jersey girls know of any not far from the beach for about $50 a head. I have talked to places such as the Chalfonte and Congress Hall and they cannot fit my budget. I'm starting to look at places around home but I've always dreamed of getting married on the beach and am really down about this. Thank you for any help!

    Try the following Elks Lodges:

    Lacey which is right on the water; its the bay & there's no sand but it's beautiful.

    Pt. Plesant & Manasquan.  Both are blocks from the beach in their respective towns.  Neither are particularly attractive buildings. 

    All of the above will fit your budget.

    Check out Doolan's Shore Club in Spring Lake. They are not right on the water but close enough to do your pictures there. AND you get the shore feel. Its not going to be as low as $50pp but you can def stay under $100 (and we had tax and gratuity included in our per person price. If you book down that way, you can use Wallflowers as your florist. They do an OUTSTANDING job and are so reasonable on cost. Message me with any extra questions.
