David's Bridal photos- has anyone used them?

Has anyone used David's Bridal photography? The price is amazing- though I'm cautious because I know you get what you pay for.
I have seen a similar post with some great advice from photographers, but I would like to hear from people who actually used the service.

I didn't even know they had photography. But regardless, each DB location will have a different photographer. I'd ask your local DB for samples of THEIR photographers photos. You can't judge one photographer and think they're all the same, ya know? Example. Some Holiday Inn's may be TERRIBLE, but then some may be awesome because there are different workers. GL!

DB won't know who your photographer is until a few months before you wedding. You need to put the deposit down before you see the photos. I haven't seen any reviews/ heard of anyone using them. It's a gamble regardless, but I'm hoping someone can tell me about their experience.

I have had brides come to me AFTER their wedding with regrets...that is all I can say on this matter.

Right on pesapenny. I would avoid big box photo companies. David's Bridal actually sent me their questionnaire trying to recruit me to be one of their photographers (which I would never do). They essentially get your name, equipment list, and location and then dispatch whoever is available at the time. You will likely not meet the photographer and the photographer has no vested interest in doing a great job since if something goes wrong it's not their responsibility to fix it. They don't edit the photos, they just show up, snap away, and get a check (a low paying check, might I add). There aren't many reviews about David's Bridal because it's a new service, but just read some reviews about similar companies like Bella and The Pros and you'll get an idea of the service. Do you really want to trust your memories to a wedding dress retailer? They have no business even offering photo services, especially knowing what I know about how they choose photographers (didn't even need to see the quality of my work).
