Alteration Question re Zippers--Is this possible?

My dress has a side zipper.  Does anyone know if it is possible to remove a side zipper and place a zipper in the middle of the back instead?

    No idea.  You'd probably be better off calling a seamstress and asking that question.

    depends on how the dress is made and where seems are etc. I work at a bridal shop in Alexandria and take it to a reputatable seamstress to see what she feels. though not sure why you would want it in the back if there is no detail covering the zipper?
