DO NOT do business with Kasey Padilla, Mark Hardy, or Rachel Lawrence!! I had the unfortunate luck of being contacted by one Kasey Padilla in regards to a post I had responded to about kissing balls for sale on another bridal website. I told her that I was not interested as they were not my colors but then she said she made them and could make them for me. I told her again I was not interested but was interested in bouquets. She said she made those too and attached some photo's for me to see. I emailed this person back and forth for 2 days on bouquets and quotes. She appeared to be a nice woman ( i even emailed her a pic of my wedding dress!!!). The paypal invoice came from a Mark Hardy which I thought was strange but I figured it must be her husband/boyfriend. I paid her $175!!! As an after thought I should have only paid for one bouquet up front but I have never had a problem with any product I had purchased from a fellow Bride so I thought I was safe. I was wrong. A week went buy and I contacted her to see how she was doing. It was then I realized mistake number 2, she never provided me with a phone number. She informed me that the flowers had arrived and that she was going to work on them over the weekend and send me some pics on Monday. Well that Monday came and went as did the following Monday. I repeatedly emailed her for 2 weeks and got no response. I had a bad feeling so I opened a PayPal dispute. 3 hours after I opened the dispute I got an email from her saying sorry her mome as sick and she had to go to Washington. That was it. She didnt provide any info about the bouquets nor send me her phone number.
I just saw today that other people are starting to post about these people. It appears these scame all took place around the same time frame. I was contacted on February 9th and paid on February 10th. I am really hoping paypal refunds my money. If anyone else has had the same experience please post!! thanks!!
