No Rehearsal Dinner?

Is anyone else opting not to have a rehearsal dinner? Our wedding will be very simple with a very small wedding party (1 BM and 2 MOHs). I really don't think we need to have a rehearsal dinner. Thoughts?

My fiance does not see the point in having one, and our wedding is on a Friday evening and very low-key, so we are not having one either.
  • As long as you're skipping the rehearsal, you don't need to host a RD.

  • Our wedding is still 7 months away, but I'm pretty sure we're not going to do a rehearsal dinner. It's a small wedding and I don't think people usually do those in my fiance's culture (he's Costa Rican). If you don't need to rehearse in the church/venue where the ceremony will be, you don't need a rehearsal dinner.
