Vendor Re-Cap

Venue: THE GRANITE ROSE: Seriously, they were PERFECT! Graham was our day of coordinator and he was amazing! He took care of everything that we needed! I couldn't have asked for more attentive service! From start to finish with the GR they did a great job! They helped us so much especially me being a long distance bride, I couldn't always meet with them but they accommodated me and my family to where we didn't have to worry about anything. The only problem that we had with them was when we wanted to pay an extra hour for the venue they said it was a flat charge which included the bar, then the week before the wedding they told us it didn't include the open bar. But it wasn't a big deal, we just had cash bar for the last hour of the reception. The GR is beautiful and all of our guests couldn't stop raving about what an amazing venue it was, inside and out. We also had our ceremony in the Embassy garden which was AMAZING! All in all, the GR gets and A+! LOVE THEM

A MAIN EVENT DJ: BILLY REARS
Billy was fantastic! Even though I was a little nervous because I never met with him before and we had some really high standards for our DJ we were not let down and he was amazing! He kept all of our guests dancing all night and played music that we loved which was the most important.

I cannot write a full review of them because we have not recieved our proofs yet, however, they were great the day of! Tony and Erin were great and I never noticed that they were there which is awesome! They took all of the pics that we wanted with our bridal party and together. I cannot wait to see how they turned out! We also had the BWOW photobooth and everyone LOVED IT! It was such a great hit and it was well worth the money!

Bridal Gown: 125 BRIDAL in PLAISTOW, NH
THEY ARE HORRIBLE! OMG! I cannot even describe to you how much I wish I went to another bridal salon. They are rude and do not seem to care about making the bridal experience and experience. They totally ruined my dress experience to the point where I didn't even like my dress on my wedding day. I didn't want to wear it and was so close to wearing another white dress that I had that I liked more. Their alterations are so overpriced it was ridiculous! I paid more than half of the cost of my dress for alterations and I didn't even need anything that crazy! Without a doubt I hope that they shut down because I think that everyone who works their hates weddings and brides...its sad to say. The seamstress, Jill, is just as unpleasant and she seems to not care at all about what brides want. Everything that I wanted or when I wanted to change something her answer was simply NO. They are the worst and I hope no one ever goes there! Go to another bridal salon, there are so many others out there you dont need to go to 125.

Bridesmaids Dresses, shoes, headpiece: BELLA SERA SALON DANVERS, MA
They were very pleasant to work with in the selection process for the BM dresses, my shoes and accessories. However, we ordered my MOH dress on January 5, but it never got ordered until March because they said they were waiting for the other BMs to get their dresses even though we told them the BMs were not going to get their dresses there bc they all lived other places. Then my shoes needed to be dyed and I didn't get them until the day before my final dress fitting. But other than that they were very pleasant to work with.
OVERALL: B

Invitations: INVITED DESIGN
Our invitations came out AMAZING! We really loved them and Invited was great to work with for them! They created our invitation to be exactly what we wanted and they came out perfect! Sometimes they were a little slow with communication which stressed me out but in the end we got the invitations when we needed them and they were beautiful!
OVERALL: A

My wedding experience was very pleasant thanks to the vendors that we worked with! Thank you to everyone for all of their help!

    Yeah, I wouldn't buy anything from 125 Bridal... ever. I went there once and was horrified with the service. So glad to hear the other vendors made up for it thought! Congrats!

    We also had a very bad experience with 125 Bridal.  Very pushy, way overpriced.  I don't know how they compete with the other shops with better prices and better customer service.

    You used 3 of my vendors! Venue, DJ, and photographer! :) It is so nice to see what you had to say since in about 3 weeks I will be using them :)I've been happy with them all so far. Thanks for the input!

    I am absolutely horrified by this.... I just bought my dress there last weekend! I worked with Brianna and I felt that she was very pleasant and very helpful! I bought the first dress she pulled for me! I didn't find anyone there pushy or rude. But maybe it was just my lucky day! As for expensive alterations... my dress was expensive enough... i might have to get my alterations done else where after reading this!!!!

    Kfudge: I didn't have a problem when I purchased my gown. I loved the 3rd dress I tried on. It was basically me making it an experience. I just didn't feel like they made me feel special or care about the wedding. I was a long distance bride and depended on them to be flexible and help me out. That was just not the case. The seamstress is only there 3 days of the week and I couldn't have my final fitting until the day before the wedding! I would DEFF take your dress somewhere else for alterations! Where do you live? I know a lot of great places in MA. There is a place in Amesbury, MA where all of my BMs and my mom got their dresses altered.
