In Delaware County --- anyone hear about? Good/Bad?

Hello,
I met with the owner of this ballroom, he also owns the Executive and Red Clay Room. The catering company that owns this property has FABULOUS food. We have used their catering many times. The Lazaretto was booked for our wedding date. We didnt like that the Red Clay Room didnt have a seperate cocktail hour location and the Executive was too far down in DE from our church.

I have been to the Lazaretto before but for a end of the school year luncheon, not a wedding.

My FFIL is using the Lazaretto for his AOH Anniversary Dinner next June. I have heard great things about the ballroom, I hope this helps!!

Ditto the fabulous food. We are using Executive for our reception, and Brad and the company are wonderful to deal with. We loved all the extras we got, and how easy/flexible the company is.

We had my prom at the Red Clay Room, and it was just as good. I have heard they remodeled, so I can't say what it looks like inside, but I can say that they have gardens and a gazebo that are really pretty/work well for a ceremony space. It's not that far from the Lazaretto Ballroom, so you might check it out.

The only reason I didn't go with the Red Clay Room or Lazaretto was because of the extra 6% PA tax. Since they have a space in Delaware, I figured I would save some money by going with that space (saving every penny I can!).

We booked our reception there for Sept 2011. Liz is amazing to work with. You really cannot beat the price - taxes and gratuity are included, so are the flowers and cake. I highly recommend The Lazaretto Ballroom.

I know a few people who have gone there for weddings, luncheons, etc. and they had nothing but good things to say about the staff and food.
