Huh

So if you want your body donated to science it can end up costing you more than if you chose to be cremated.  Unless you have some super cool/rare disease that is in high demand, you have to pay all sorts of transportation and storage fees.  Good to know.

    BFF told me that it depends on the program.  Her mom wanted to donate her body to the university hospital where she worked for the past 25 years but it was going to be expensive.  The hospice social worker helped them find a program out of state that is in greater need of "inventory" and would take the body with fewer fees involved.
