My dress came in yesterday and I tried it on to realize that the top just doesn't fit me at ALL. I am slightly pear shaped, so this was expected in a way, but I fear I am going to need much more alterations up top than I had planned. And the dress has a lot of beading:

I wasn't able to talk to a seamstress yestrerday since it was a Saturday. But I am wondering if I should take the dress to a local seamstress instead to save some $$.
