I took today off work to drive to our wedding location with FI (it's about two hours away from where we live). We did the tasting, picked out the cake, booked our hotel room for our wedding night, and picked out our location for our rehersal dinner! We also finalized our ceremony details with our priest.
Here's our menu:
Cold appetizers: Cream cheese ranch stuffed cherry tomatoes, bruschetta
Hot appetizers: Swedish meatballs, cheese quesadillas
Salad: Mixed greens w/choice of ranch or balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Entrees: Chicken Tuscany, Ribeye Steak, Sun-dried pesto pasta (vegetarian), Chicken Tenders & Fries (for the kids)
Wedding cake: Layer 1 - Toffee cake with chocolate mousse filling, Layer 2 - vanilla bean cake with raspberry filling, Layer 3 - Red velvet cake with toffee filling, Icing - buttercream
We also have 4 hours of open bar.

So excited about all our good food & all our checks! Next check will be picking out bridesmaid dresses this weekend - whoo hoo!
