Which florist did you all use? Were you satisfied?

Re: ANYONE HAVE A FLORIST RECOMMENDATION???

  • The florist Iam using is Destiny Does Flowers, she is awesome! My wedding is in April so we have been emailing and talking for months getting things settled. She has sent me multiple proposals aaccomodating the many changed and was cheaper than most of the florists I contacted (and more than willing to work with my small budget) I have heard nothing but wonderful things about her! She is pretty new to the wedding scene in NOLA but she has been nothing but awesome so far her studio is precious and her past weddings looked beautiful from the pictures! She has a website n fb I totally recommed her!
  • Adrian's Christian Flowers on Carrolton.  Lisa is awesome to work with and will work with a budget.  She's really good at taking what you want and offering suggestions to come up with something that's perfect.

  • I'm using Christina O'Malley based on recommendations from this board. She works from her home so her prices are very good. She doesn't have a website, but you can email her at  christinaomalley@cox.net

  • We used Crystal Vase and were extremely pleased with our flowers. The price seemed pretty reasonable although I have no basis for comparison.
  • We used Fat Cats and it was amazing.  Diane was one of my favorite vendors to work with.
  • FI got beautiful roses for my graduation at Villiere out in Metairie. I'm going to talk to them this week.

  • Christina O'Malley has been amazing. My wedding isn't for a few days yet, but she has done several arrangements that I found pretty.

For my engagement party hosted by family friends, my mom asked Christina to make an arrangement for $100, including delivery. It was beautiful and amazing. A much more quality arrangement than we would've gotten from a traditional storefront florist.

For Christmas, my sister's boyfriend and his sister stayed with us. Their mother asked for a florist recommendation to send an arrangement for our big Christmas dinner. Mom recommended Christina, and she certainly delivered an amazing arrangement. We had to divide it into several smaller ones because it stole all the attention from our other holiday decorations.

I realized, last-minute, before my bridal photos that I forgot to get a bouquet. I didn't know if I should bother, but my photographer said it would be a good idea in case I needed something to do with my hands. On less than a week's notice, Christina had the resources to throw together a bouquet that matched my colors, included plenty of beautiful roses, and was of really nice quality for a good price.

She is really outstanding, and I would hire her all over again. I am fully confident that she will put together a perfect array of flowers for my wedding day.

  • I second Destiny Does Flowers. Her website is http://destinydoesflowers.com/About.html She is wonderful and very professional!
  • We used Christina O'Malley and she was great and very affordable. I didn't really know what I wanted and just told her to use flowers that were in season, budget friendly and fall colors and she put together some beautiful arrangements and was very easy to work with.
