Catering/Appetizers/Restaurants/Pick-up/ Delivery/Set-Up - SUGGESTIONS!!!

I am getting married on Sat. Oct. 16th 2010 at the Rollinsford Legion Hall in Rollinsford NH.

I live in Farmington NH.

Completely do it MYSELF Wedding. Just Me! ONLY ME! Equals SMALL BUDGET.  DIY Traditional Wedding Ceremony & Reception layout with Halloween Flair.

My fiancé’s parents have been kind enough to look into doing the catering/food. About $1,000 for 100 people. That equals $10 a head. They don’t really seem to understand what things cost. They seemed baffled when I told them I was seeing photographers for anywhere from $1,200 to $3,500. I didn’t tell them I found one for all day coverage with a 300 photo album for $875. They have a caterer in mind which we have to meet with and I have my list of questions ready, but my future-in-laws seem to be a more chicken or fish with a potato and the get it done kind of people, and me and my fiancé are more of a variety buffet.  Plus, I don’t even think they have thought about the cocktail hour while the bridal party is having pictures done. Have to have appetizers for that. I have been looking a the customized foot trays and platters they sell at our local Wal-Mart, not bad, but can any one suggest a caterer or restaurant with a variety that can do a pick up or delivery and maybe a setup.

Finger foods, sandwiches, hot wings, hot/cold, my fiancé even liked the idea of BBQ style. We are open to anything, any style and/or a merger of styles and tastes. I understand I will probably have to add some of my own money to the pot, but the most food for the littlest money. I would rather have people bagging up leftovers then searching all night for food.

People remember the Entertainment and the Food!

I know that 45 market street bakery does catering.  They are super nice and would probably be willing to work with your budget.  They are in Somersworth NH their number is  603 692- 4511.  They make the lunches for my school and they are delicious!  HTH!

My Mom owns two assisted living facilities in Dover. One of her chef's has a catering business on the side with his wife. My parents hired him for my grandmother's retirment party in May and the food was AMAZING! I think it was roughly $12 a person which included chicken, baked ziti, some sort of alfredo dish (which was incredible), garlic bread, salad and assorted desserts it was ALL homemade too! I believe there was about 100 people at the party. He brought 2 wait staff members with him as well. If you want his contact info just let me know and I can e-mail it to you!

We are doing a Rehearsal Dinner/OOT guest party at my Mom's house and having it catered. We are using MoJo's in Portsmouth (owned by a friend). They have BBQ styled cuisine (pulled pork, brisket, black beans & rice).
