Be sure to ask what happens if it rains! My photographers told us a lot of photographer will not bring their equipment outside, but they wanted to make sure we knew we'd be out there and to bring cute rain boots and a pretty umbrella if it does rain!

one other thing I would ask before booking anyone - ask to see all of the shots from a previous wedding. Like, all the retouched images. This allows you to see:

1- about how many pictures you are going to get

2- how many quality images these people produce per wedding.

Lots of photographers have great portfolios because they pull their best 20 shots. But how many great shots do they get during a single wedding? Doing this was SO helpful when I booked my photographer.

Oh yes yes; I would also ask to see a full wedding. That way you get to see ALL of the pics, not just the good ones that they choose for their website/blog

When I met with my photographer last month, he had an iPad which contained all of his wedding albums, so we got to see a wide spectrum of pictures. Another photog we met with brought his laptop.

I'm not sure where you are getting married or if its a concern where you live, but something that was super important to us was if they were insured.
