Michaels Invitations

Has anyone successfully used these? I bought a bunch and love the way they look, but I'd like to know if they are hard to print on or not.

I got pocket invites from Michaels and had virtually no issues printing them.  I did run into some trouble getting the address labels to print even but my IT savvy FI told me it was because my printers allignment was off and I couldn't fix it because I lost the set up CD.  In my opinion they turned out really well - people couldn't believe that I did them myself.

I used a kit from Michael's... and it was seriously super easy. I was really worried about what kind of printer to use, but the paper ran through my $30 Epson printer just fine ;-)

Out of curiosity... which style did you get?

I don't remember what the style name was, but it was a Brides pack in chocolate brown with little scroll designs. Which did you get?

I was thinking about picking up and using the programs that they have kits for.  Glad this question came up.

Mine were from the "Brides" collection as well. They were square, ivory pocket folds with an orange floral pattern on it. My only gripe was that from box to box, the shade of orange varied... which was slightly annoying but probably only noticeable to me.

But yeah... again... everything printed perfectly. I was afraid things would get stuck, or the printer would cause everything to be slightly bent afterward... but the paper was the exact perfect weight to hold up to my printer and come out looking perfect.

</div><div>3 of my 4 invite kits had one type of address label and the 4th kit had a slightly larger label.  Like you said - nothing anyone else would notice!

I actually posted this question on the invitations board a few weeks ago :-P

The girls there said the program kits are great.

There were mixed reviews of the invitations mostly because of the thickness to the paper for them, but that you could fix by gluing them onto cardstock or something.
