Re: EXPIRED

  • Did you pay a deposit? I'm sure your first order of business is to find a photog, but you should also consider calling a lawyer.

Agree......Hopefully you signed a contract also. That way you will get your money back some how.

  • I would keep calling.  Hopefully in your contract there is a clause that states that if the photographer becomes unavailable for whatever reason, they are responsible for finding you a comparable replacement.

  • I am so sorry to hear that. That is horrible! I really hope you get your money back! In the meantime you need a photographer. I dont know if she is available on such short notice but I would like to recommend our photographer. Her prices are GREAT!!! Hope this helps!! Good luck!

  • oh thats awful! In the event you cant get any recourse with your current photog, I would start calling others and see if they are available; you might be able to get a discount since they likely weren't going to get any income that day if it wasn't booked by now, maybe they will let you pay a portion in advance and a portion afterwards due to your current situation. Or maybe one of those consumer watchdogs can help, like one of the local newspapers or tv stations could air your story, they always seem to be able to help people on those segments. Are you getting married here, or in Colorado or Hawaii (it looks like that photog serviced those areas....thats sort of a weird combo!)
  • My photographer is used to randomly filling in for people who have that kind of problem. I had this kind of problem, luckily I caught mine early enough as my photographer got deported! Here's their info. Sweetest couple and awesome artsy pictures.
