Wedding invitations

in May 2013 Weddings

My wedding color is periwinkle.  I'm looking around for invites and colors, etc.  I went on invitationconsultants.com.......setup the wording/colors and was very satisfied.  I then went to a local ...the periwinkle color looks more like silver/pewter color. 

Where are you getting your invites from and are they true to color?

    I also have no clue where we will get our invitations... I feel that it's a little early to send invites out 6 months in advance... As PP said STD's normally go out 8-months out...

    I'll probably send my STDs at 6-7 months out since most of our guests are in state. I'll send my invites 3 months out.

    I was reading this last night to my FI and he laughed when I said 6-8 mths out for the STDs'. I said UM we have a ton of out of staters we better have them out in time. :)

    I'm not sure when we'll be sending out our invitations either (still debating on 4 months out or 3 months out). We already got our saves the date cards from Wedding Paper Divas and sent those out 2 months ago. Everything is happening so fast!
