Any suggestions for reception venues in or around the York area that aren't too expensive but nice?

    Not sure how many people you're looking to invite or inside or outside.  Here are some in the area that I personally like: Shady Lane Farms (gorgeous place but the owner will talk your ear off in your planning stages.. ultimately though he lets you do what you want), York Heritage Trust- downtown museum.. neat black and white tile floors, Lauxmont farms- cobblestone courtyard or japanese gardens is my fave, Perfect settings in columbia.. Daisy and her husband are amazing!! highly recommends, moon dancer winery.. good luck and happy planning:)
