My name is Ashley. I've lived in Tampa/Oldsmar almost my entire life. My FI is from Boston. I am a part time CNA and a full time nursing student. FI is a newborn photographer and part time technology management major.

We're getting married at the Centro Asturiano in Ybor next November. We're still in the early stages of planning, but deadlines are starting to sneak up on me!

    Welcome Ashley!! My name is Lynn.. My FI and I have been together 5 1/2 years. We moved from DFW Texas about a year ago to be closer to my family. We live in Lakeland right now. FI is a mechanic by trade. I teach 2nd grade. :)

    We're getting married June 26, 2011 at the Rusty Pelican. :)

    Hello! My name is Larissa, my FI and I have been together for 6yrs. I was born in Brazil and moved to Sarasota, FL when I was 12. My FI is from west palm and both moved to Tampa b/c of school. I have recently graduated from nursing school and FI is an engineer. We are getting married April 8th, 2011 at the Rusty Pelican...soo close!!Laughing

    Hi my name is Franchesca. I was born and raised in St. Kitts, West Indies and then moved to Tampa at 14. . Fiance and I met over 5 years ago when he moved here for school. I moved out of state for school and just finished classes for my MPH. Fiance is still in school looking forward to starting his career in law enforcement. We're getting married  on October 9, 2011 at Bayanihan Arts and Events Center.

    Hi Ladies...My name is Amanda. I was born and raised in Tampa but after the wedding I will be moving to Chicago (fiancée's job transferred him up there earlier this year). Fiancée & I have been together for 6 1/2 years. We are getting married on August 13, 2011 at the Hunter's Green Country Club! :)

    Hello everyone, My name is Kim. I have lived in Holiday/Tarpon Springs most of my life. My FI and I lived in Fort Myers for 3 yrs while we went to school then after we got engaged we decided to move back. My FI and I will be together for 8 yrs this January, we are high school sweethearts Laughing He is working his way up the corporate ladder at Best Buy and I am a full time student studying to get my Bachelors degree in Biology. I work part time at a pool hall and as a tutor. We are getting married October 15, 2011 at The Riverside Venue.

    Hi!!

    My name is Jen and my FI and I have been together for almost 7 years. We're high school sweethearts. I was born in Jacksonville, FL, moved to Pennsylvania for 6 years because of military parents and moved to Melbourne, FL when I was in the 5th grade. FI is from Melbourne Beach, FL, but he spent a good portion of his life living in Canada. We both moved to Tampa after we graduated from undergrad at UCF. I have a BA in journalism, and moved to Chicago for law school and just finished my first semester. I plan to practice public interest or corporate law. My FI is an actuarial analyst for a life insurance company and is still in Florida. He'll join me in Chicago whenever he finds that fabulous job here. As a side note, I LOVE Chicago and do not miss Florida at all.

    We're getting married Feb. 27, 2011 at Town Manor in Auburndale, FL. The honeymoon will have to wait until I'm done with my first year of law school, haha.

    My name is Marissa and FI and I have been together 5 years, although we have known each other for 10 (in high school).  We grew up in New Hampshire, but FI is a captain in the army so he has been moving around a lot in the past 5 years.  I work outside Boston as a special education teacher, and he is now stationed permanently (4 years) at Fort Bragg NC.  We recently bought a house in Pinehurst NC.  My parents live in Sarasota in the winter, and we decided to have a "semi-destination" wedding for our families from the cold north.  We will be getting married March 12, 2011 on Anna Maria Island!  Its coming up FAST and I still have so much to do, including moving to North Carolina two weeks before. 

    For all your newbies, this board has been SOOO helpful to me, especially since I am planning from afar.  Please utlize all these great ladies on here.

    Hi!  My name is Kari and FI and I have been together for 2-1/2 years.  I'm originally from a small town in Michigan, and moved to Florida in 2001 for my job after finishing my undergraduate degree.  FI is from Philadelphia, PA and moved here about 4 years ago with his best friend.  We're planning our June 4, 2011 wedding in East Lansing, Michigan on the campus of Michigan State University.  We'll celebrate our wedding by having a smaller reception for our Florida friends and co-workers on June 25, 2011 at Jackson's Bistro, after we return from our honeymoon.  I can't believe it's only 6 months away!

    FI and I have been together just over five years, and we are getting married in 3 WEEKS!!!! at the Grand Plaza on St. Pete Beach. I'm a teacher so we are waiting until June to take our honeymoon.

    That's about all that's exciting that I have to share at the moment... last minute details are clouding my brain!

    Let's see... where to begin! I'm Krystal & have been with my guy for almost three years. In fact, we are getting hitched pretty much on our three year anniversary (give or take a week or so... not sure when we were really "official," LOL). I grew up in Tampa, went to UCF for my undergraduate, and I am now at USF for my graduate degree. It's been a long journey but I should finish next year. Our February 19th wedding will be held on the beach for our close friends & family and our reception for everyone is at the Sailing Center in Clearwater.

    Howdy! 

    I'm Chelsea, CeeCee for short. I'm originally from NYC. I received my undergrad at Stanford and my J.D. from FSU. My fiance, Heath, is originally from Ireland. We met at Stanford and his residency brought him to Tampa and I came with. He is specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology (Infertility). We've been together 7 years (clearly in no rush to get married!) LOL Our wedding date is 12.31.11. We will be getting married at my grandparents house on Boca Ciega Bay. I have no clue where our honeymoon will be... All I know is that I find out the day we leave for it... Kind of worrisome...

    Hi Everyone!

    My name is Casey and I was born and raised in St Pete. FI was born and raised in Detroit, MI. He moved here in 2008, 2 months later we meet at the pool of our apartment complex. I am a sales administrator/analyst going to school part time for accounting. FI has a degree in teaching social sciences, but unfortunately there are no job openings so he's a project manager for restoring foreclosed homes (and business is booming, lol)

    We're getting married March 10 at the Grand Plaza hotel on St Pete Beach. We are flying out the next day for our honeymoon at the Royal Playa del Carmen in Mexico. I can't wait!
