Married! PIP

Well it has been 9 days since the big day and we are back to reality and home from the HM.   I am putting a few of the non-pro pictures taken by the guests.  I will hopefully post vendor reviews tomorrow.

For the honeymoon, we spent 7 nights in Aruba.  I had been before and loved it.  Well, we arrived last Sunday to rain....and it rained for three days.  I guess they were getting freakishly abnormal weather patterns.  was raining for 2 weeks but that is highly unusual because it is a desert island and gets about 10 inches of rain a year.  We made the best of it.  Sunday, we arrived and unpacked.  Then went to the restaurant "Tango"  across from the Hyatt.  It was really good.  Monday was out jeep tour using ABC Jeep in the pouring rain.  Very muddy but soooo much fun.  There was only us and two other hm couples.  Our tour guide was fantastic.  We stopped for snorkelling on Baby Beach.  The other days involved lounging under the palapa right at the ocean....so peaceful.   Some of the restaraunts that we visited and loved were:
El Gaucho----by far the best steak we have ever had.  My hubby is still drooling.
Passions on the Beach----dinner at sunset on the beach and then tiki torches after sunset.  The food was incredible and the scenary was by far the most romantic.

We also did the Jolly Pirates snorkel tour---my favorite of the trip and I don't even snorkel.  The guys were hilarious.  They also have a rope swing where you can swing out into the ocean and free fall....so much fun.  Oh yeah and they provide food and an open bar.

I would reccomend Aruba to those who are out to just relax.  They are not a big party island with clubs and such.  They have bars and night life but more casual.  It was exactly what I wanted.  Also, they are very americanized.  So rich caribbean culture is not big down there but the people are friendly, they accept US money everywhere, and they all speak great English.
