I had my first day of work at the craft store. Please to remember one of their designers had to leave town unexpectedly and they asked me to fill in. My training was "yeah, so the designers basically just hang around and make stuff." I got to use anything I wanted in the whole store and not pay for it. Hello, dream job.
The designer who is out hosts a free make-and-take project every Friday night, so I already knew I'd be handling that. But it turns out that the designer who hosts the Tuesday morning make-and-take (who also happens to be the Copic instructor that hates me) decided she doesn't want to do it anymore. So they asked me to take that one over too. And they kept hinting that they'd want me to continue on when the designer I'm covering for returns. Score.
H and I decided that as long as I can bring in a couple thousand a month crafting, I'll keep being a mostlySAHW. This gig continuing will make that goal a whole hell of a lot easier to reach.

(jealousy rears it's ugly head)
And a couple thousand/month isn't staying home, it's a career...doing something you love.
