Does anyone know anything about baking?

I made FI a really yummy birthday cake, but I ended up with WAY too much frosting.  It is this really delicious lemon cream cheese frosting and I just can't bring myself to toss it out.  It is at least enough for another cake!  Does anyone know if it will freeze well?

TIA!

  • Buttercream doesn't freeze too well. Especially with citrus in it.
I would refrigerate it. It should keep for about a week.

  • I would keep it in the fridge and eat it for dessert until it's gone ;)

But really, I would go out and buy something that I could spread it on and eat it. Cookies, pound cake, etc.
