Spray Tan?

Hi Girls!

I'm going back and forth on getting a spray tan before the wedding. I get them all the time and have a specific brand (Versa Spa) that I love! Has anyone had experience with this?

Thanks :)

I spray tanned right before my wedding (the day before actually).  I go to Spraychic tan in Farmington/Birmingham.  There was some color that rubbed off onto the inside of my dress but you couldn't see it until I took the dress off and my tan didn't get all messed up either.

I've used versa spa twice at VIP tanning and I love it...the first day you do feel really sticky and gross but after the next day you can shower and it looks great! Everybody complimented me on it and couldn't believe it was a spray tan because I didn't look orange.

I'm sorry if this comes off as rude but if you get them all the time, why are you asking? (I've never gotten a spray tan, so I'm no help - sorry!)

Carissa at Spraychic is AMAZING! I have been going to her for almost 3 years now. She is very passionate about what she does, and she does it well!  I have NEVER had a problem!  Definitley would recommend her!  I am actually on my way there now for a 6pm appt. for our engagment pics tomorrow haha.

Thanks Guys! @Milsey- I should of clarified...I get them all the time in Chicago, but for the Wedding I'd have to get it in Michigan. Plus, I don't know if it's just me, but I'm finding myself second guessing every decision of this wedding (including my beauty regemint!).

Thanks for your help ladies :)

I vote no. I went to a wedding where it rubbed off on the dress all under the armpit area. Gross i know. Maybevthat's from doing it too close to the wedding though?

I didn't get one, and I didn't miss it honestly. I just made sure I sat in the sun a bit the weekend before the wedding (at a Tiger's game, strapless top) and got about 30 minutes of natural sun on my legs beforehand. I know too many people who have found stains on their wedding dress afterward and regretted it.

I guess it also depends on what the rest of your wedding party and fiance do...... if they have a bit of color, it would look fine. If not, I tend to think too much tan on just the bride or another member of the wedding party makes them stand out, and not in a good way, LOL.

I think it also matters what you intend for your wedding dress after the big day. Do you want to pass it down in the family? Would a family member or friend ask to borrow it down the road? Do you want your future daughter or granddaughter asking what the brown stains are on your dress? Ewwww, grandma had a fake tan!!!Laughing (just joking here........I get these comments from my kids all the time)
