Florida Keys anyone?!

Hey! So I am starting to research US locals for our honeymoon, and I've narrowed it down to the Florida Keys (Hawks Cay resort near Marathon). Has anyone has experience with this area on their honeymoon? How is the romance there? The food? The beaches?

Any other suggestions for locales for us? We DEF want warm, beachy, crystal clear blue water, and relaxation, and we want to stay in the US (or its territories).

    I'm not sure when your honeymoon is, but I have heard that the Florida Keys could be affected by the oil spill in the Gulf this summer. I don't know much more about it than that, but you might look into it if you'd be going sometime soon...

    Hi! My parents have a vacation home in the florida keys and ive been going there for ages every. single. summer. and hawks cay resort is BEYOND spectacular. their breakfast buffet is amazing. i recommend this place HIGHLY!!!

    I stayed at Hawk's Cay last year and Loved it. The pics from my camera look amazing. The weather is perfect. The Island is friendly. Great food and definetely romantic. I would totally look into it! I want to make our trip there a yearly tradition. Hope this helps!
