You guys crack me UP! Here's the best part: I can't give you the digits because our phone lines are off. Incoming calls get diverted to the office mass-voicemail. So we're essentially here to answer internal calls that might come from corporate. Because that's so common?

Dani nobody in my office wore jeans today - except me. It's Friday, so I figured it was ok. Nobody has said anything to me, I guess they figure if they sent me home they know I won't come back for the day. Not that I'm being super productive at the moment anyhow.

I work from home so I usually wear pajamas or sweats. Even more jealous?

Today though I actually showered and got dressed since I told my neighbor I would drive her to the commissary. I'm one of very few people in our area willing to drive in the snow.

You're right Kiki. Since we are only here for about 2 years or so, and all the districts basically said they weren't hiring any new teachers this year, I gave up on teaching jobs. So I work for a travel health company. 2 of my aunts opened a franchise in Buffalo, and I would help them out with flu clinics and stuff, and they basically set me up with a job at the franchise out here. I basically am just a receptionist for the 5 offices in the area, and all of the phone calls are forwarded to my cell phone.

Its a sweet gig. I play on here all day until the phone rings. And then I make appointments for people, and come back to TK. Plus since the calls are to my cell I can do running around if I need to. I only do it though when its slow since its a pain to write everything down when they call. The pay is not even close to what I would be making teaching, but I'm happy with it, and luckily we are okay for now that I can work a low paying job.
