pre-gift for bridesmaids

Hi all! Of course I am aware of the traditional 'bridesmaid" gift to be given the day or so before the wedding. However, for my shower, one girl is throwing the shower and the other two are traveling a long distance to be there for the special day. So, I am looking for something little that I can give to each girl as a "thank you" for this part of the celebration...I would prefer something homemade and relatively inexpensive. I thought about getting photos of each of us together and framing them, but I have done that lots of times over the years for my friends so would rather something more creative. Thanks in advance!

    I would definitely get the host of the shower a gift.  I gave my shower hostess a basket with wine and good quality chocolate in it.

    For the other girls though, I would probably take them out to lunch or something if they will be in town long enough for that.  While it's nice of you, I don't think it's necessary to get them a gift, per say if they are not hosting the shower.

    Moonshine. Just make sure that you have a back up plan if the said moonshine makes your bridesmaids blind. If you buy the moonshine alittle less likely you'll make the girls blind but homemades just as good or is poison.

    OP I think LP has a really good idea with giving the host a gift and doing something else with the other girls.

    Give them a girls night out or a luncheon with your girls.  You can throw a  inexpensive lunch for them at your home while the girls who are coming from far away are in town.
