Florists

Hi! I was wondering if any brides out there could recommend a great florist that isn't going to break my budget? I'm planning on using Manzanita branches and candles with a few flowers hanging for centerpieces, so if you know of any that specialize in stuff like that I'd REALLY appreciate any info :)

Manzanita centerpieces are expensive unless you plan on providing them to the florist along with the containers. Other materials such as the foam base, hanging crystals, glass balls, flowers and the such can also add to the cost. You can save a lot of money if you DIY the manzanita centerpieces and ask a florist such as Whole Foods (very budget friendly) or a local florists like Robin Hollow Farms to provide the fresh flowers. You also have the option of using silk blooms (which will hold up well). You can wire the flowers in advance and not worry about set up on the day of and save money by eliminating fresh flowers for centerpieces.

I made two manzanita centerpieces for my wedding and they were relatively simple to put together with a hot glue gun and a few materials. I used the site below to purchase them. You can buy the kit or buy in bulk for a discount. They have specials too.

Some other budget friendly florists include Florals by Alisa, Blooming Blossom and Golden Gate Florists
  • def. talk to christina at studio 539 in providence! love her and she stayed within my budget when everyone else completely ignored it and gave me quotes for 2x as much!!
  • Thanks girls! :)
  • Also Florals By Alisa is amazing!  Her estimate was legit almost half of every other quote I received.  She was amazing to meet and speak with and is incredible with quick responses.

We are looking forward to working with her!  Also, in my reserach on them the only negative review was that she was already booked for the dates people were looking for.
