MBCDEFG- Hoboken Train Pictures Question

Hi!

I heard from some of the girls on the NJ board that you did some of your wedding pictures at the Hoboken Train Station....we are getting married in december and want to do the same thing since its going to be chilly, and almost all foliage will be gone!  Did you need a permit to take the pictures? Its a public train station so i would think no, but some people said i might.  If you did need one, how did you go about getting it?

    Hi!

    I think there was a misunderstanding ... our engagement photos were taken at Liberty State Park (there's a train station there). Unless our photographer got a permit without telling us, we didn't have a permit for that.

    On our wedding day, though, we took post-ceremony photos at Branch Brook Park in Newark, and we had to get a permit for that.

    We were actually thinking about going to Branch Brook Park for photos if the cherry blossoms were still out. Whom do you contact to get the permit, and how much was it?

    Hrm, good question. I don't really remember the details, sorry. I <span style="font-weight:bold;">WANT</span> to say that it was around $25 or less? I think I called the Essex County Department of Parks and Recreation ... someone directed me to the right person and they gave me the info.
