XP: tuxes on a beach

So, FI and I are getting married on a beach in Mexico. I can't wait. I have a beautiful chiffon dress all picked out. But, when I asked him what he wanted to wear, he said no question, he was wearing a tux. I can't really image a tuxedo at a beach wedding. It seems silly since it's adding formality to an informal location. Would my chiffon dress even go or would it look too informal? What would we put the other guys in? Still, he argues that if I get a wedding dress, he gets a tux. And it's his wedding too, so I want him to wear what will make him happy.

Anyone have any pictures of wedding parties on the beach? I tried a general Google search and can't really find much!

You really couldn't find any? Googling "beach wedding party" got me 600-odd billion pictures. Make sure you're clicking the image search button. Anyway, here's a picture with groom in tux and bride in (I think) chiffon.
Linky because it was messing up my post

The same search found a number of weddings with the guys in tuxes. I prefer them wearing shoes to going barefoot, though. Bare feet with a tux is just wrong.

Sorry, perhaps I should have specified. I'm looking for pictures of weddings that actually took place on the beach (as opposed to beach photos after a church wedding) where the groom's party were in black tuxes. Thanks anyway.

"Linky" above is a beach wedding: the girls are lined up with the officiant and the best man. The bride and groom appear to have just finished the ceremony and are doing the recessional.  Although they are not in black tie, just dark suits, it is formal and beautiful.

      btw...chiffon goes with black tie.
  • Two important questions:  What time is your wedding?  If it's a daytime wedding, tuxes are not appropriate as they are formal evening wear for after 6PM.  What length is your dress?  If not full length, again, tux is not appropriate.  Black suits can be worn any time of day and with any length of dress.
  • Gray tuxes are gaining popularity. They look and feel more summer and outdoors appropriate.

I did include a link to a picture, which did seem to be a wedding taking place on a beach, but here. Have some more pictures from the same search.<div>

</div><div>Charming attitude you have, by the way. Honestly, your groom wants to wear a tuxedo; let him. Unless your dress is a super casual style (the fabric alone makes little difference as chiffon can be formal or otherwise depending on the cut), you'll be of similar formality to each other. And generally the bride and groom should be the most dressed-up of anyone at the wedding.</div>
