make up and DJ help

Hello!

I've been on the knot for over a year and I finally set a date and turns out I'm going to plan a wedding in 6 months!  I feel pretty relaxed and I feel like I have all the big stuff out of the way...well kind of... I got the location, dress, photographer and I have already been too a few florist and buying stuff for my candy buffet. However I can't find any make up artist!  Who are you girls using?  I would like air brush becuase I heard it's better for the pictures. Any suggestions?

Also I'm having trouble finding a DJ becuase my family is hispanic and wants some spanish music played but then I would like a good mix from spanish to hip hop, any suggestions?

Thanks girls!
Tanya

Makeup - I went to the Mac counter.  I had to purchase $40 worth of products in order to get my makeup done.  It  turned out great and I had an excuse to buy my fave brand!

DJ - I can't suggest anyone.  My BIL was our DJ and although he has his own DJ company I think he is outrageously priced...but then again he does weddings out in the more, let's just say, propserous areas.  I threw in Spanish music into my reception music.  I gave a list of which Spanish songs I wanted and had them mix it in with all the rest which was mostly hip hop.

Sorry but I am not much help. I did my own makeup and my DJ only plays vintage vinyl records. I'm sure the girls on here will be helpful though.

    Hi and Welcome!

As for make-up, I have 2 girls coming over the day of to do it. I have Monique Powers, who does amazing work and does airbrushing, but is a little on the expensive side ($300 for the bride, including the trial) and I'm also having Leah Garcia (Long Lasting Impressions) come over to do the bridesmaids makeup, she charges $120 for the bride.

As for the DJ. I'm having After Dark Entertainment. They are the cheapest I found (including uplighting) and also do Bilingual music. My reception is a mixture of Spanish and English speakers so this was a must.

    Hope this helps!!!
