We met with the flower designer today to select the flowers we want for the wedding. It ended up to be a little more money than I had hoped for, so we are cutting out a couple extra things and going to do some DIY decorations instead. Overall the meeting went well and I'm excited to see how the bouquets end up.
Also we got our ceremony programs printed today. We ordered 100 because that will give us some room in case we mess some up. It only cost about $26 for the paper and printing. This is going to be a long project (cutting them out and adding the eyelets and ribbons) but we have a month to get it done. I'll let you know how it goes. We are doing fans similar to this:
I also stopped by the local tourism office and got Duluth visitor booklets to add to the welcome bags for our guests.
I'm not sure who reads these things, but I'm relieved to get this stuff done. We were supposed to meet with the florist about a month ago, but it got cancelled because there was mass flooding all over town. I feel like the wedding is getting super close and it is time to get these things finished off.
